GUAR GUM POWDER
Guar Gum Powder (Organic Guar Gum Extracts and Guar Gum Powder Applications)
The agricultural forms of the plants of Guar are Psoralioides and Cyamopsis tetragonolobus. The organic guar gum powder is derived from the seeds of this plant, which are processed and separated from the endosperm. These plants are also known as once-a-year plants because they can be grown even in the monsoon season or in the summer season, and are plants from the leguminous family. These are derived from the seed’s endosperm, which consists of heavy carbohydrates. Sandy soil is suitable for cultivating this kind of crop. This product is known because of its thickening characteristic, and it is also its main implementation. The guar plant is added as a reagent in mineral and hydrogen bonding as well as in cellulosic surfaces, because it has an important component known as an ingestible carbohydrate polymer.
Organic Guar Extracts
Guar extracts are the Guar Split/Gum 28% (+/- 1% variance) extracts from the guar seed. The guar extracts include Churi and Korma 67% whose ratio again is dependent upon the quality of the seed.
The Guar gum when dissolved in water produces galactose, hexose sugar, and mannose. One quality of hexose sugars is that it can dissolve in hot water and cold water. The viscosity of the aqueous solution increases but when acid is brought into contact the viscosity or density of the fluid reduces. The strong acids which can cause hydrolysis and alkalies in strong concentration tend to reduce the viscosity. Borax addition will form a gelatine mass which can be used with starch agar and alginate. Agro Gums leads in the manufacture of high viscosity guar gum powder in the 3500 to 8000 CPS range. Guar gum powder specifications include many factors such as viscosity, moisture content, and particle size distribution.
